KID’S COOKING PARTY
KCC CULINARY STUDENTS FOR KID’S COOKING PARTY
REQUIREMENTS: 2 – 3 Culinary students needed to prepare Entrees and Desserts
DATE: NOVEMBER 12, 2016
RATE: $20 per hour each student (approx. 4 hours)
TIME: 9:30am-1:30pm
Food/Supplies Provided
We would like to have experienced culinary students that are good with kids help with a kid’s cooking party. The party will take place in Hawaii Kai at a community clubhouse. We have the clubhouse rented for 4 hours. The clubhouse has a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stove with oven, sink and layout space. We also have 6′ tables for additional layout. The party menu is for (10) 12 year old girls and possibly up to 6-8 adults. Kids will be supervised by parents during the party.
Entree Menu would consist of Pizza and Pasta. Duties would include making pizza dough with the kids then adding toppings and cooking the pizzas, making raviolis (veggie/cheese) and linguini then preparing them for the kids. We would also like sauces that would include marinara, butter/parmesan and a meat sauce. Sauce preparation can be done without the kids.
Dessert menu would consist of cupcake making and decorating along with possible sugar sculpting or a spun sugar demonstration (possibly making a spun sugar cage for the cupcakes). Also, an ice cream sundae bar where the kids would serve themselves.
