Kapi`olani Community College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, www.accjc.org, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The American Culinary Federation has awarded Seven-Year Exemplary status to the Kapi`olani Culinary Arts Program for their AS Degree in Food Services: Culinary Arts, AS Degree in Food Service: Patisserie, and Certificate of Achievement in Culinary Arts.

 

rcaThe joint Kapiolani Community College and University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Culinology program is one of sixteen approved programs by the Research Chefs Association.

Students earn an A.S. degree in Institutional Food Service Management and continue at UH-Manoa to complete a 4-year B.S. degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a Culinology option.
